George Gale Glidden left this life peacefully on August 26, 2017. George was a veteran of the Korean War and was the recipient of The Bronze Star. He was a unique, compassionate, generous and loving individual who enjoyed playing bingo and entertaining friends and family with ventriloquism. George is preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Antonina "Toni" Glidden his brother, Robert Glidden and 3 step-sons, Andy, Ernie and Norm Atwater. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his children Dale (Connie) Glidden, Mike (Kathy) Atwater, Kevin (Irene) Glidden, Karen (Kevin) Chilvere, Kimberly Glidden-Reed and Sandra (David) Scheer, Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his companion dog, Johnny. There will be a private memorial service for friends and family and a military service at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution to Faith Hospice.
