George DeVries

DEVRIES-George H. Devries, age 72, of Greenville, Michigan passed away Monday, March 16, 2015. George was preceded in death by his parents, Russel and Vivian DeVries; his wife, Betty (Foster) Devries; three brothers, Norman DeVries, Robert DeVries and Richard DeVries; on sister, Virginia Devries (Levandowski-Dekkinga) and one son, George (Pork) DeVries. George is survived by his children, Norman (Bud) DeVries, Dianna (DeVries) Robinson and daughter in law, Brenda DeVries; six grandchildren; Melissa Spears, Daniel DeVries, Aaron (Erica) DeVries, Amanda (Dick) Ring, Sean Robinson, Makenzie Robinson and nine great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Milton "Butch" (Sandy) DeVries of Kentwood, John (Mary) DeVries of Grand Rapids; three sisters, Linda (Elmer) DeYoung of Grand Rapids, Beth French of Spring Lake, Rose (John) Crandall of Sparta and sister in law, Linda (Robert) DeVries of Grand Rapids. And many loving nieces, nephews and many loving friends. George will be deeply missed by his loving friend and fiance, Judy Schonenberger of Greenville, also special friends, Jim & Lyn Koster, Bob & Sally Karasiewicz of Grand Rapids, Robert Ward and Roberta Pieper of Greenville. Memorial services including Military Honors for George will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 20, 2015 at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S.
