Geneva VanderKolk

Geneva VanderKolk, age 79, of Alto, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 3, 2022. Geneva loved her Lord and Savior. She believed the best in people and enjoyed helping others in need. Geneva loved and adored her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert VanderKolk; sisters, Hazel (Chet) Dozeman, Florence (Gradus) Lubbers. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Randall and Kimberly VanderKolk; grandchildren, Karlie, Amber, Trenton, and Jared VanderKolk; siblings, Floyd (Mary Ann) Meiste, Albertha Martinie, Helene (Roger) Machiela, Dorothy De Roo, John (Karen) Meiste, Marvin (Connie) Meiste, Dale (Barb) Lamberts, Gary (Bonnie) Meiste; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 7 at 1:00 pm at Cornerstone United Reformed Church, 6442 36th Ave, Hudsonville, with Rev. James Admiraal officiating. Burial will take place at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 12-1 pm at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Cornerstone United Reformed Church Mission Fund or Faith Hospice.
