Geneva M. Ritsema

Geneva Marie Ritsema, age 89 of Kentwood, went on to her heavenly home Wednesday, May 27, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius and infant children, Mary and David. Surviving are her children, Dale and Shirley Ritsema, Bonnie and Rich Bode, Sharon and Jack Toering, Dennis and Kathy Ritsema, Kathy and Tim Nesbitt, Darlene and Jim Smith; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; four sisters; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Monday, June 1 at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 1213 52nd St SE, with Fr. Godfrey Onyekwere presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. The family will meet relatives and friends Sunday 2-4 & 6-8pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, also Monday 10-11am at church prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Magdalen Church.
