Geneva Doornbos

Geneva Doornbos, age 89, of Byron Center, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 27, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Doornbos; and daughter, Dawn Johnson. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Pam and Keith Buys, Cheryl and Jeff Doll; son-in-law, James Johnson; grandchildren, Loriann (Matt) Syswerda, Daniel (Rachael) Buys, Nathan (Renelle) Buys, Lynnae (Allan) Murray; great-grandchildren, Reagan, Mabel, Garrett Syswerda, Jyoti, Priya Buys, Finley, Kendaleigha, Ezeriah, Julianna Buys; sisters, Hazel Boven, Marilyn (Ron) Boven; sisters-in-law, Beatrice VanHouten, and Maxine Doornbos; extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Dr. Jeff Doll officiating. The burial will take place at Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Commission To Every Nation (CTEN) or the Institute for Reformed Biblical Counseling (IRBC).
