Eugene Francis Fries, age 62, of Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2022. Gene loved baking, photography and his dogs. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. He served in the U.S. Navy. Gene will be greatly missed by his wife of 32 years, Deb; children: Dan Fries, Mark and Lydia Fries; sister, Denise and Tom Derienzo; mother-in-law, Jo Haggerty; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: Denise Haggerty, Jerry Haggerty, Diane and Chip Larson; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Elsie Fries; brother and sister, Ken Fries and Lois Headd. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at MKD Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park, Wyoming, with Deacon Tom Derienzo officiating. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery at a later date. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
