Prayers and Sympathies for the whole Zichterman family. I was saddened to hear of Gary's passing. Gary played a very important role in my life when he and Nancy moved in next door when they first got married. Gary was instrumental in encouraging my involvement in sports and would take me, as a ten year old, to watch him and his buddies play fast pitch softball and basketball. That introduction to sports turned into a life long enjoyment of participating and watching sports for me and also for my family. I'm glad I took the opportunity to look him up and take him to lunch to be able to thank him for the impact he had on my life. I had just thought very recently about doing that again. Gary was a good man and I was blessed by the important role he played in my life. Rog Vanderheide

Gary was a pleasure to work with at Herman Miller. He was always thinking of better ways to accomplish work. Gary loved to make improvements and save the corporation money. He worked with integrity and was willing to challenge the status quo. It was evident the way Gary approached work was guided by his faith. We pray Nancy and family wiill be comforted with the Holy Spirit n the days and weeks to come and kn ow they will treasure fond memories of Gary,
