Gary Jay Hunderman, age 62, of Coral, MI, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, May 6, 2018, and went to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Hunderman; grandchildren, Trinity and Abel; nephew, Rick Hunderman. Gary will be lovingly remembered by his his wife of 32 years, Jan; children, Dawn and Eric Demute, Stephen Chicky, Audrea and John Lucas, Dawn Kay Hunderman; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; mother, Jenny Hunderman; brothers, Roger and Mary Hunderman, Norm and Gail Hunderman; sister, Sandy and Ron Plumb; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Adam Nordyke officiating. Interment Winchester Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Oh Jan and Sandy, I remember all the good times we had snowmibiling years ago and how helpful Gary was when we had a problem on the trail. My prayers are with you both and the rest of yiur family.

Jan....we will miss Gary very much!! Loved joking & teasing with him about his nice new truck...always a smile. Prayers for peace and comfort as you get through this horrible time.

Our prayers are with the Hunderman family especially Jan,Dawn,Audrey,Steve and Dawn Kay
I had the privilege of knowing Gary and hanging out with him at the races where I learned to admire a true hot rod, We had so many good times snowmobiling with the family, I often reflected on those years. Gary Will be missed, and I am so glad he gave us Dawn and Audrea to carry on his love for life
