Gary Baird

The Lord called Gary W. Baird age 80 of Wyoming, MI, a special husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, papa, brother, and uncle to his heavenly home on Sunday, September 15, 2019. Surviving is his wife of 57 ½ years, Doris; son, Kevin (Kathleen) Baird of Middleville, MI; daughters, Tammy (Jon) Howry of N.H., Kristi (Mark) Wray of Six Lakes, MI; 13 grandchildren, Alicia, Derrick, Zachary, Joshua, Joel, Brandon, Aaron, Sarah, Parker, Tricia, Michael, Candace, Jeremy; 13 great grandchildren, Katelyn, Karlie, Bailey, Sirri, Jackson, Emilee, Finnley, Ellie, Neo, Chloe, Elijah, Judah and Esther; brother Dennis "Tom" (Dody) of IN; many nieces and nephews. Gary retired from Spartan Stores warehouse after 30 years of service and enjoyed many years with wife, Doris and family. Breakfast with the spartan guys the 1st Monday of each month when he felt well enough. Gary was in the Army with the 82nd Airborne 58-60. Meeting Gary at the gates of heaven will be his mom and dad, Harrison and Bertha, brothers, Loran, Lowell, Russell, Bruce; sisters, Darlene and Arlue. Gary's family will greet relatives and friends from Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 5 to 8 PM at Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11:00 AM at Brigham Funeral Chapel, 9977 Howard City-Edmore Road, Lakeview, MI, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Six Lakes, MI. Memorial contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation or Trinity Lutheran Church Lakeview.
