Gale Russell Allen, age 59, of Kentwood, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 19, 2016. He was preceded in death by parents, Clifford and Vivian (Shoemaker) Allen; brothers, Lynn Allen and Roger Allen. He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Aaron Allen; grandsons, Michael and Rylan Allen; the mother of his son, Debra Hansen; brothers, Lee and Shirley Allen, Clifford “Hap” Allen Jr.; sister-in-law, Vicki Allen; and several nieces and nephews. An Open House will be held from 2-4 pm on Thursday, August 4, in the Memories Room at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW. Interment Grandville Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the National Parkinson Foundation in memory of his mother who suffered with it.

My thoughts are with you at this time. I have many great memories growing up working on the farm. Too many to list here. Gale as well as all of the the Allen's have made an incredible impact on my life. Gale will certainly be missed.
