Gabriel Fodor

Gabriel John Fodor, age 91, of Wyoming, went to be with Jesus our Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 3, 2018. He was a World War II veteran serving in the Navy. He was a retiree of Herpolsheimer's as a delivery truck driver for 42 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 70 years, Alice; his children, Johnie and Evelyne Fodor, Barbara Fodor, dd Guzman, Carol and Michael Ziegler, Renee and Jim Bouley; 3 grandchildren, Alexis Guzman, Jessica and Dustin Mol, Drew Ziegler; 1 great grandson, Declan; sisters-in-law, Catherine Fodor, Maxine Meyer; and brother-in-law, Ronald Woodburn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 1630 Godfrey Ave. SW, Wyoming, with Fr. Stephen Dudek presiding. Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Drive SW with a Rosary to follow at 8 p.m. An additional visitation will be held on Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Holy Name of Jesus Parish.

Gabby was such a treasure to everyone who knew him. I will always cherish the fond memories that I had with him from early childhood to recent Holidays.
