Freda Yaeger

Freda Yaeger, 92, of Alto, Michigan went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 26, 2018, surrounded by her family in her last hours with tears, laughter and so many wonderful stories. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Harvey. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Karen and Ronald Walter, Richard and Christina Yaeger; grandchildren, Shannon and Mike McAvoy, Lindsay and Mike Bigney; and four great-granddaughters. Freda grew up in a large Polish family in the Detroit area where she met the love of her life Harvey, her neighbor, and later, husband. After many years they moved and retired to Oscoda where they enjoyed living at their home on Lake Huron. Years later they moved to Grand Rapids where they spent the rest of their lives together. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 1, 11 am at Ada Bible Church (Ada) 8899 Cascade Rd. SE, with Pastor Stephen Lewis officiating. Interment Bowne Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family one hour prior to service at the church.
