Franklyn Dornbush

Franklyn J. Dornbush, age 85, of Wyoming, finished his work here on earth and passed away peacefully on Friday, April 8, 2022, and went to be with his Lord. Frank loved his family, camping, fishing, and anything to do with the outdoors. He was a faithful husband, father, and grandpa and will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years, Shirlene Dornbush; his children, Nancy and Marc VanDenBerg, Pat and Jim Snoeyink, Jim Dornbush, Judy and Dave Holtrop, Barb and Brian Hooyer, Bob and Lynn Dornbush; 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; sisters, Charlene Mohr, Sandra Roberts; brother, Russ and Susan Dornbush; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Florence and Roger Key, Jerry and Jane Dyk, Dick and Barb Dyk, Rose and Keith Sikkema; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Faith Community Christian Reformed Church, 5250 Byron Center SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Roger Groenboom officiating. The burial will take place at Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday, April 12, 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Community CRC Christian Education Memorial Fund.
