Stryker, Frank √ STRYKER, FRANK Frank Stryker, aged 88, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, May 10, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann; son, Vernon; and sister, Jenny Vehoeven. He is survived by his children, Pat Crittendon, Dale Stryker, John (Laura) Stryker; daughter-in-law, Nancy Stryker; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Fannie Louwsma; brother-in-law, Al Mulder; and several nieces and nephews. Frank was born in Kalamazoo in 1925. In 1927 he moved with his family to Imlay City where he owned and operated a celery farm. He then moved to Grand Rapids in 1968 where he retired as a truck driver. Frank was a pilot and an avid motorcyclist and musician. Funeral services for Frank will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at Millbrook Christian Reformed Church, 3661 Poinsettia SE, Grand Rapids, with Pastor Will Hensen officiating. Interment Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood on Wednesday from 4-7 pm.
