Frank Griffin

GRIFFIN- Frank Griffin, age 77, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014 with his family by his side. He was born in Comstock Park at home on Abrigador Trail on October 10, 1936. (The kids on the Trail were known as "River Rats"). He worked for the City Engineers of Grand Rapids and Rieth-Riley Construction Co. He started and was a partner in Excel Asphalt Paving. Frank is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 37 years, Beverly; his children, David (Vikki) Blakeslee, Steve Blakeslee, Christine (Karl) Smith and Ken Blakeslee; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; many friends and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen; parents, Frank and Jenny; half brother, Wm. Briggs and wife Phyllis; granddaughter, Jacqueline Ray.
