Frank Galen Nibbelink

Frank Galen Nibbelink, age 80, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Orange City, Iowa, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 5, 2021. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Jane; children (and grandchildren), Heidi and Brian Mitchell (Branson), Keith and Carol Anne Nibbelink (Elizabeth, Liam, Victoria); sister, Cynthia Nibbelink and Haja Worley; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Josie Nibbelink and brother, Herm. Frank proudly served in the U.S. Air Force National Guard. He worked 40 years in the autobody industry and worked lead maintenance at Coventry Woods for 17 years. In retirement, he owned and managed rental properties. He was an active member and elder at Beverly Reformed Church for many years. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Beverly Reformed Church, 2141 Porter St. SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Shane Floyd and Rev. Kevin Schutt officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood. Due to gathering restrictions, there will be a limit on the number of people who may enter the building at a time. Burial will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Gideons International (https://www.gideons.org/donate).

Jane and family: We were so sorry to hear about Frank's passing. We send our deepest sympathies, and pray that God will give you all strength and peace during the difficult days ahead.
