Frank A. Fitzgerald, age 82, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with the Lord  on Saturday, September 28, 2019. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Donna; daughters: Kathi Fitzgerald, Julie Fitzgerald; son, Kevin and Becky Fitzgerald; grandson, Nolan Fitzgerald.  He was preceded in death by his sisters: Evelyn June Prentice and Rosetta Trowbridge, as well as a baby brother, Billy. Frank attended Moody Bible Institute. He worked as a waiter for 13 years in Chicago.  He later worked at Child Evangelism Fellowship, retired after 25 years from Kindel Furniture, and then Amway Grand Plaza Banquets, and Cornucopia Outlet. After retirement in 2012, Frank enjoyed volunteering for RBC (Our Daily Bread).  Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at Woodward Baptist Church, 2160 76th St. SW, Byron Center, with Rev. Lance Laker officiating. Interment Oakgrove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Woodward Baptist Church, Our Daily Bread or Faith Hospice.
