Francisco Ocampo

Ocampo - Francisco "Paco" Ocampo aged 53 of Grand Rapids, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martina Villasenor; Linda's parents, Mariano and Helen Dara; brother-in-law, Tony Dara. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Linda Ocampo; father, Felpie Ocampo; brother, Enrique Ocampo, Rafael (Adriana) Ocampo, sisters, Lucia Begien, Reyna (Pedro) Vicario, Griselda Ocampo, Blanca Manzanares; brother-in-law, Michael (Cheryl) Dara; sister-in-law, Joanne (Paul) Jesnek; several special nieces and nephews. Paco loved soccer, his favorite team was Club America. He loved cooking, hosting family and friends. His favorite things to make were taco el pastor, many kinds of salsa and his famous horchata! He loved being around family and friends and was great at helping others. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, December 3, 2018 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 101 Hall St. SE. Family will greet friends and family from 2-6 PM, Sunday at Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave. and one hour prior to the service at church on Monday.
