Visser, Frances Frances Visser, age 84, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, October 5, 2014.  She emigrated from the Netherlands in 1946.  After Dad Visser retired, they enjoyed winters in Florida.  Fran loved spending time with her family and friends.  She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing cards, puzzles, and reading.  Fran was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother who will be missed.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Al Slendebroek and her second husband, Bill Visser.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Betty Slendebroek, Gerry Slendebroek, Tom Slendebroek, Carolyn and Dan Navis, Sharon and Don VanderWal, Dr. Richard and Joy Visser, Deanne Brink, Joyce Bouw, Linda and Dan Averill; 27 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; brother, John and Betty Postema; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Elsie DeWall, Janet Hoekstra, John Slendebroek, Wilma Osenga, Hennie DeJager, Grace and Jim Adrianse, Arlene and Don Stoorteboom.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday 11 AM at Baldwin Street Christian Reformed Church, 2101 Baldwin Street, Jenison with Rev. Jerry Van Groningen and Rev. Darrin Compagner officiating.  Interment Kent Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Sunset Manor Benevolent Fund.
