Frances Tigchelaar

Frances Tigchelaar, age 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, September 28, 2015. Her husband of 65 years Peter Tigchelaar preceded her in death.  Her children, Patricia and Phillip Hamberg and Peter and Debra Tigchelaar will remember their mother as a loving and caring mother, always praying for her family.  Frances loved seeing her grandchildren, Stephanie and Richard Roelofs; Phillip and Michelle Hamberg; Rob and Kelly Dykstra; Keith and Taylor Timmerman. She also loved to watch her great grandchildren, Austin and Mason Hamberg and Allison Roelofs, especially at Christmas when everyone gathered to share gifts and celebrate Christ’s birth.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Jo Potter.  The family wishes to thank Brookcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the compassionate and professional care given to Frances throughout her brief stay.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to Brookcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Grandville, Michigan.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. with Rev. Calvin Vander Meyden officiating.  Interment Pine Hill Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday 6-8 pm at the funeral home.  Condolences may be sent online at www.mkdfuneralhome.com.
