Frances Potter

Frances Potter (Vander Markt), age 93, of Wyoming, was called to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 16, 2017.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian J. in 2007.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children (and grandchildren): Carl and Deborah Potter (Scott and Gladys, Richard and Shayna), Robert and Ingrid Potter (Nicholas and Kaylee, Lindsey and Eric, Traci and Chase), James and Laura Potter (April and Michael, Ron), Trudy and Craig Sietsema (Jonathan and Angela, Lydia, Casey and Elies); numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Fran was a charter member of Calvary Christian Reformed Church.  She was active with Godwin Christian School Mothers Club.  Funeral services will be held 2 pm on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Dr. Douglas Kamstra officiating. Interment Rest Lawn Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 6-8 pm and Saturday 1-1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of American House (Maplewood Manor) and Hospice of Michigan for their loving care of Frances.
