Frances M. Patten, age 97, of Wyoming, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017. Frances is survived by her son, Lewis Patten; grandchildren, Angela, and Timothy; dear friend, Marilyn Barker; nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, from 1-2 pm on Friday, November 24. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Contributions in memory of Frances may be made to Allendale Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.

We were blessed to have Frances with us for many years. She used to love to sit near the nurses station and tease us - so many laughs!

For years, Francis called me Sandy and seemed to have adopted me as her favorite at the nursing home. She demonstrated a gentle spirit, gave us many laughs and was a pleasure to care for. She will be missed.
