Frances Dick

Frances Marie Dick, age 83, went to her heavenly home on a beautiful afternoon, September 19, 2022. She is survived by Wil, her dear husband of 66 years. They had just celebrated this anniversary with their children, Barb and Dan Paulucci, Dianne and Tim Slager, and Carol and Larry Meekhof. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Aaron and Nick Paulucci, Drew, Leah, and Emma Slager, Bryan and Nathan Meekhof, and their spouses; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul and Kathy Smits; and brothers-in-law, Cap and Georgene Dick, Leonard and Lois Koetje. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Theresa Smits; siblings, Woody (Marilyn) Smits, Marge (Jerry) Draayer, and Eleanor (Arthur) Fredricks. Fran was a caring wife, mom, grandma, and friend. She maintained many lifelong friendships, served at five different congregations, worked hard, traveled extensively, and cared deeply. We mourn her passing, but thank God for the lives she touched. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Fairway Christian Reformed Church, 1165 44th Ave., Jenison, with Rev. Edward Tamminga officiating. The burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, September 23, from 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. and also on Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
