Florence “Flo” (Wynalda) Rutledge, age 88, of Grandville, was called to her heavenly home on Friday, February 19, 2021. Flo was a loving mom, grandma, and great-grandma who treasured her family and deeply cared for others. She retired from Mary Free Bed after more than 30 years of faithful service. She was blessed with the gift of baking, always having a delicious treat for family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rod; her son, Dan Couturier; her sister, Kathryn Dieterle; and her brother, Richard Wynalda. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cindy (Jeff) Blaauw, Peggy A. Couturier, Larry (Nancy) Couturier; grandchildren, Heather (Steve) Stetler, Stephanie (Mike) Irvine, Corey Couturier, Joe (Mary) Couturier, Ted (Chloe) Couturier; many great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Marge and Arnie DeHaven; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Chaplain Rick Kiekintveld officiating. The service will also be live streamed on the funeral home website. The burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Stroke Association or to Faith Hospice.
