Florence Jane Dodge

Florence Dodge, age 98, of Caledonia, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Florence was devoted to her church family at St. Paul Lutheran and taught Sunday school there for over 70 years. She enjoyed theater and music, and was an incredible seamstress and a great cook. Florence will be remembered most for her love of people. She had a great outgoing personality and could go on and on sharing stories with others. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Dodge; and her brother-in-law, Jake Jahnke. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law, Louise Jahnke; nieces and nephews, Lor and Barb Kunst, Phil and Helen Jahnke, Paul and Sue Kabelman, Bill Jahnke; and many other great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday, December 17 at St. Paul Lutheran, 8436 Kraft Avenue, Caledonia MI 49316, with Rev. Tim Brand officiating.  Burial will be held at Holy Corners Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday an hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the St. Paul Lutheran Organ Fund.
