Felicita Mercado, age 72, of Kentwood passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Roldan. A wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, she will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 43 years, Luis; sons, Norberto (Omayra) Mercado, Daniel (Amarilys) Mercado; grandchildren, Norberto, Omayra, Yanelis, Daniel, Emma, AJ, Mando; mother, Francisca Rodriguez; sisters and brothers, Maria, Guillermina, Ana, Jose, Esmeraldo, Delia, Angel, Pablo, Teresa, Robert, Elizabeth, Antonia, Wanda; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Felicita’s life will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at St. Francis Xavier, 250 Brown Street SE, Grand Rapids. Burial Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood) 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, with a Rosary at 8 pm.
