Faith Baker

Faith Baker, aged 81, suddenly passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026. She was born October 24, 1944, in Wick, West Virginia. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Jonathan and Betsy Baker and Joey Baker and Laura Bassett; granddaughters, Abrielle Baker, and Emma Lynne Baker; siblings, Una Mae Henderson, Charity and Larry Hadly, Dorman and Martha Ash; brother-in-law, Don Thomas; and many nieces and nephews. Faith was preceded in death by her husband, Jackson Earl Baker; parents, Peter U. Ash Jr. and Merle Johnston Ash; brothers, Joseph London Ash, Loman A. Ash, and Lorn Ash. sisters, Nila Ash, Texana Ash, Hope Keller, Munice Flesher, and Montana Thomas. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Allendale) 6651 Scott St. with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Burial will take place at Allendale Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Monday from 10-11 am at the funeral home prior to the service.
