Evelyn Mae Warber (Puls), age 95, of Hudsonville entered into her Heavenly Home on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.  She was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir for several years, worked at Community Breakfast, served on Altar Guild, and was one of Immanuel’s quilters.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; daughter, Lana DeVriendt; sisters, Helen Schuiling, and Lena Boone.  Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Lori Polmanteer; son-in-law, Michael DeVriendt; grandchildren, Rebecca Polmanteer, Zachary Polmanteer, Derek Pomarius; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, James, Kodi; stepchildren, Steven and Jane Warber, Mark and Chris Warber; step-grandchildren, Sara and Mark Baker, Emily and Adam Burgess, Rebecca and Colter VanStedum; several step-great-grandchildren; special nieces, nephews, and  friends, with special thanks to Nancy Geske for everything.  Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2 Michigan St. NE, Grand Rapids with Pastor Craig Bickel officiating.  Interment Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 5 to 8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and from 11 to 11:45 am Saturday at church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Immanuel Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, American Cancer Society or the charity of one’s choice.
