Evelyn Marie Hayes

Evelyn Marie Hayes, age 89, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buzz; 4 siblings, and her dog, Patches. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Larry and Jackie Hayes, Rick and Barb Hayes; many grandchildren: Ericka Hayes, Jennifer (Jon) Kline, Amber (Drew Simon) Hayes, Tina Hayes, Robert Hayes, Christina Hayes, Kimberly Hayes; great grandchildren: Ayden, Tayton, Kennedy, Landon, Blakely and Kami; sisters: Beverly (Sonny) Strobridge, Betty (Larry) Griffen; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 12 p.m. at MKD Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with Pastor Bruce Wilson and Mike Shepardson officiating. Burial will be held at Winchester Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 5-7 p.m. at MKD Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood as well as one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
