Evelyn Mae Klein

Evelyn Mae Klein, age 92, of Wyoming, joined her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 8, 2021. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Harry C. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Douglas and Carol Klein, Judy and Edward Rikkers, Brian and Dawn Klein, Patti Klein and Gray Ferguson; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby Blair and brother, Chet Arndt. Evelyn was the last charter member of Grace Lutheran Church, co-founder of the Piemakers, and a Sunday School teacher for many years. She was a very kind and loving person, always ready with a hug and smile even as her health deteriorated in the last few years. The family would like to thank Faith Hospice for their support and kindness. A very special Thank You to Avis Brooks from Homewatch, who was such a blessing to Evelyn and her family when we needed her most. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Grace Lutheran Church, 150 50th St. SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Zachary W. Marklevitz officiating. Burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 7-9 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr., Grandville and one hour prior to the service at Church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Grace Lutheran Church Bell and Sanctuary Choirs.
