Evelyn Landis, age 95, of Zeeland, and formerly of Indian Park, Illinois went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 29, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Landis, two infant daughters, and four of her siblings and their spouses. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Judy and Art Jongsma; son, Keith and Jacqueline Landis; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Kendra and Erwin Van Elst (Tyler and fiancée, Michelle Busscher, Kaleigh), Michelle and Dave DeGraaf (Justin, Carter), Andy and Heidi Jellison (Tebich, Micah), Anastasia and Tom Stevens (Nathaniel, Aberdeen). Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. (CST) at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church, 1300 S. Harvey Ave., Berwyn, IL 60402 with Pastor David Armstrong officiating. Interment will be held at Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Park, Illinois. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 10-10:45 a.m. (CST) prior to the service at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or the Art and Judy Jongsma Psychology Scholarship Fund at Trinity Christian College.
