Evelyn DeVries

Evelyn (nee Walburg) DeVries, age 90, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 22, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert DeVries and her daughter, Patricia Worrell. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Bonnie Schut and Derry O’Neill, Daniel and Cathy Worrell, Cherie and Bryan Stone; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday 2 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Rev. Dave Poolman officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 1-1:45 pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Gentiva Hospice.
