Eva Sue Meekhof, age 52, of Grand Haven, passed away suddenly and was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 20, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Ethel Meekhof. Eva was a kind and selfless person who always put others before herself. Her courage and determination in life was evident to all who knew her. She was blessed with a strong work ethic, working for Herman Miller for many years, and most recently at Trendway Corporation. She enjoyed using her creative talents in many ways, always having a project and creating beautiful things. Eva also enjoyed touring Michigan with her boyfriend, Doug Sall, who passed shortly after her. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Nick Meekhof; stepmother, Jan Meekhof; siblings, Arlan and Barb Meekhof, Duwayne Meekhof, MariAnne and Greg Vogelaar, her step siblings, Kathleen and Robert Schellenberg, Karen and Jack Lutke; many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 26, 1 pm at Rusk Christian Reformed Church, 10354 92nd Ave, Allendale, with Rev. Mark Neymeiyer officiating. Burial Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the church and also one hour prior to the service on Friday. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Love, INC of Allendale.

So very sorry to hear of Eva's passing. I worked with her for a time at Bretford. Eva was a very positive, radiant and intelligent woman. Eva is missed by many, we remember her humor and have fond memories or working with her.

Eva was a special friend and she was always such a joy to talk to, I grew up and went to Graduated from High school with her son "Nick" I knew if I ever want Nick to know im thinking of him, or just want to just say "hello" I would tell Eva. I'm praying for the family and especially Nick during this hard time.

Eva was not just my boss at Herman Miller but a true friend & mentor. We shared lots in common but mostly I remember what I have learned from her professionally & personally. She was a people person who had the biggest heart, always wanted to see you do & be better & loved her family & friends so deeply. Thank you Eva for all you showed me, for all you taught me & most of all, who you were. I will miss you so much & am ever grateful for everything. ❤️

I am so sad to hear this news. I happened to see her only a month ago after not seeing her for quite some time. Catching up with her was like catching up with a friend I saw only a few weeks ago. She was such a breath of fresh air and had a love for life!
I pray for those left behind that are already missing her and wish they could have said goodbye. I pray they feel the Lord's comfort in her absence and know that she is looking down on everyone in love and admiration.

Eva touched many people in her personal and professional life. She was a mentor and friend to me and I will miss her smile, laugh and sense of humor. She was always there to help out and go the extra mile for her team, colleagues and friends. She made us all better.
