Eugene Westerhof

Mr. Eugene R. Westerhof aged 86 of Belmont passed away Friday, August 31, 2012. Mr. Westerhof was preceded in death by his wife Ann and brother, Jack Westerhof. Surviving are his children, Luanne (Chuck) Gilson, Debbie Kay (John) Miller, Jeffrey Westerhof, Lorri Smith, Rick (Sigrid) Westerhof; grandchildren, Karin (Nick) Baker, Lisa (Nate) Mencarelli, Andrea (Mitch) Patrick, Tyler Miller, Eric (Lindsey) Smith, Ryan (Natalie) Smith, Johanna and Myles Westerhof; great grandchildren, Carter, Chase, Isabelle, Xander, Makenzie and Henry; sister-in-law, Sandy Westerhof and her children, Bill, Kim, Bob and Scott. Mr. Westerhof proudly served in the US Army during WWII serving in Germany. He retired from South Western Publishing Company. A memorial service will be held 11AM Wednesday, September 5, 2012 with visitation to follow until 2PM at the Uptown Assembly of God Ministry Center, 1432 Wealthy SE., Grand Rapids.
