Eugene John Zentner

Zentner, Eugene John Eugene John Zentner, aged 92 of Kent City, formerly of Kentwood, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Gene was a life member of the Elks, Knights of Columbus, and American Legion Post 258. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during World War II and retired from the Navy after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Local 174 Plumbing and Pipefitters Union. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the chapel at Resurrection Cemetery, 4100 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with Msgr. Terrence Stewart presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice Trillium Woods.

Sorry to learn of Genes' passing. I met Gene at Cardinal Health and worked with him there for 8 years. Enjoyed working with him and talking about his life experiences. He was a good man. My condolences to the family. Gary King

Gene and I met at Cardinal Health. He was an amazing man with a life force so strong it spread out to those around him. The stories of his life were interesting, entertaining and educating.
