Eugene “Bud” H. Michele

Eugene “Bud” H. Michele, age 76, of Grandville, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 25, 2015, after an eight year battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Darlene, and his brother, Joe Hoover. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Gary and Tami Michele, Collene and Blake Watson; six grandchildren, Jennifer Michele, Jason and Tracy Michele, Stacy Michele, Cory Michele, Tyler Watson, Kimmy Watson; 3 great grandchildren, Amiya, Sophia, Grayson; brothers and sisters, John and Jean Michele, Robert and Beverly Michele, Charles and Ellen Michele, William and Elizabeth King, Joaanne and David Bruinsma, Mary Lou and James Kramer, Barbara and Edward Scott; many nieces and nephews. Bud loved his family immensely and enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time at his cottage in Grand Haven. Funeral services will be held on Saturday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. with Rev. Dennis Gilbert officiating. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
