Esther Lenore Telman, was born on May 10, 1924, to Peter and Dena Visser. Esther died on May 22, 2022, and awoke in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Esther was a child of God, a faithful loving wife, a devoted and nurturing mother and grandmother, and always put others first. Esther was a charter member of Plymouth Heights Christian Reformed Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Gerald Telman; son, Randy Telman; grandson, Eric Telman; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lila and Larry Alkema, Irene and Bud Brill; brother, Bill Visser; brothers-in-law, Marv Weaver, Don Huizenga, Howard Lambers, Henry Telman; and sister-in-law, Theressa Telman. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Linda and Lou Roossien, Carole and Pat Brady, Denise and Pete Klein; daughter-in-law, Pam Telman. She will also be missed by the grandchildren she loved and adored: Lou and MaryBeth Roossien, Jim and Stacy Roossien, Kristin and John Aukema, April and Seth Longcore, Nick Telman, Jill Telman, Mike and Kriss Brady, Maureen and Claudio Angeli, Paul and Michelle Brady, Pat and Kristen Brady, Jennie and Pat Kotrch, Jim and Erin Goss, Becky and Nate Streelman, and Abby and Jared Holwerda; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Marianne Huizenga, Bea Weaver, sisters-in-law, Donna Lambers, Vonnie Visser; and many nieces and nephews. A private family graveside service was held at Woodlawn Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Plymouth Heights CRC - Benevolent Fund.
