Esther Jane Kunzi, age 95, of Jenison, slipped peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 17, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Norman Kunzi, her son-in-law, John Balkon, and her sisters, Helen VanderLaan, Laura (Steigenga) Poehler. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Wanda Kunzi, Gail Balkon; grandchildren, Melissa Balkon, Eric and Kathryn Balkon; great-granddaughter, Kenzie.  Esther was a charter member of Trinity CRC in Jenison. She served her Lord with her time and talents in many ways both in her church and community.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Gerry Koning officiating.  Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family from 10-11 am prior to the service at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Sunset Manor Legacy Fund or to Overseas Missionary Fellowship (Meigu Ministry).
