DAVIS - Erik William Davis, age 47 of Grand Rapids passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Irene McClendon and his father, Alfred Davis Sr. Erik is survived by his mother, Geraldine Davis; older brother, Al Davis Jr. (Jan); sister, Debbie Bluschke (Phil); his fiancée Kresta Graham and her daughters, Alyssa, Alexis and Katherine; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his best furry canine friend, Willy. He loved surfing, snowboarding, music and the Grateful Dead. A celebration of Erik's life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 8, 2019 at Sparta Baptist Church, 38 S. State St., Sparta.
