Emil Morlock

MORLOCK - Dr. Emil F. Morlock aged 79 of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Lina Morlock; son, Brian Morlock. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Shirley "Lee" Morlock; children, Greg (Diane) Morlock, Dana (Jeff) Miller, Robin (Fred) Parker; grandchildren, Heather Richards and Ryan Morlock, Megan and Macey Miller, Carson and Paige Parker; sister, Rosemarie Smolenski. Emil proudly served his country in the US Army. Following his military service he became a Chiropractor, retiring after 48 years. Emil was active in Rotary and various Chiropractic organizations. Funeral services will be held 7PM, Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. His family will greet relatives and friends Wednesday from 6 to 7PM. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Heartland Hospice or the Humane Society.
