Emerita Avila, age 85, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Emerita will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 66 years, Norberto; children, Ronald Avila, Edilberto (Dalia) Avila, Moises (Donna) Avila, Samuel Avila; brothers, Santiago Colon, Artemio Colon; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Emerita was a woman of great faith. She was a very talented musician. Due to her wishes her body has been donated to science. In lieu of flowers or contributions, the family would appreciate your prayers.
