Johnson in 1990; her mother, Anna Mae Holbrook; sisters, June Warner, Evelyn Warner; brother, Chester “Dale” Holbrook. She will be lovingly remembered by her and Lester’s four children and spouses, Donald Johnson, Patricia (Gerald) Pelto, Carol Sue Stratton, Rose Ann (Thomas) Wiseman; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; thirteen great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Shirley Holbrook; five nieces and nephews. Earlier in life, Elsie enjoyed cooking for her family. She was busy every day making good meals and desserts for her family’s enjoyment. Her grandchildren, Daniel and Pamela, especially remember the great tomato and dumplings that she would make just in time for a special lunch. Grandma and Grandpa were always there for them. Elsie was a member of the Wyoming Park Seventh-day Adventist Church. When she was no longer able to attend, she found much enjoyment and Christian nurturing in watching the Three Angels Broadcasting Network. Interment at Rosedale Memorial Park will be held at a later date.

My sincere condolences to the Johnson family on the loss of their beloved mother. Although it has been 60 years since my association with the Johnson family, I remember well the warmth and friendliness with which I was received.

Dear Family,
May you find comfort in knowing your loved one will never have to face the last enemy, death, ever again. In the meantime, her acts of faith live on until she stands up alive and whole in the Paradise. (John 5:28,29)
