Ellen Marie Jakeway, age 62, of Rockford, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. Ellen graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Ferris State University. She loved her Boston Terriers, gardening, interior design, and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fay and Ethel Adair; brother, John Adair, and her nephew, Daniel J Watters. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, John Jakeway; sister, Judy (Bob) Watters; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins from the Jakeways, Watters, and Grossenbachers.
