Elizabeth Gillette

Mrs. Elizabeth LaVonne Gillette, age 94 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 21, 2013. She is survived by her children, Richard and Gloria DeJonge, Mark and Janet Gillette, Gary and Jamie Gillette, and Faith Gillette; grandchildren, Julie Shellhouse, Janelle Stutzman, Keith DeJonge, Teri Van Dusen, Stacy Beene, Spencer Gillette, and Aubrey Gillette; great-grandchildren, Brittany and Cody Shellhouse, Joshua and Vivian Stutzman, Tayden & Josiah Beene, and Brady Van Dusen; brother, Michael "Dominique" Olree; brothers-in-law, Bob (Ruth) Gillette, Roger (Lauren) Gillette. Mrs. Gillette was preceded in death by her husband, Harold in 2009. A Celebration of Elizabeth's Life will be held on Saturday, August 24 at 1 p.m. at Alpine Baptist Church, 692 7 Mile Rd NW, Comstock Park with Rev. Douglas Compton officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the Gillette family on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr., Belmont and one hour prior to the service at the Church on Saturday.
