Elizabeth “Betty” F. (Korhorn) Bloem, age 91, of Jenison, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Bloem and son, James David Bloem.  She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Janice and Keith Gort; precious grandchildren, Timothy, Jonathan, and Jeffrey Gort; brother-in-law, Jack Bloem; sister-in-law, Diane Bloem; dear nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Hope Protestant Reformed Church, 1580 Ferndale SW, Walker, with Rev.  David Overway officiating.  Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral service.
