Elisabeth Klifman

Elisabeth (Ellie) Klifman, age 87, of Wyoming, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 8, 2024. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and baking, and playing cards, but her special passion was her love of family. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Klifman, and her first husband, Wesley Schaap. Ellie will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sheryl and Mark Offringa, Jennifer and Jim Jensen, Yvonne Matthis, Marian and Al Young, Michael and Audra Schaap; stepchildren, Harv and Terri Klifman, Craig Klifman, Diane and Gary Ergang, Tim and Tammy Klifman; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren with two more on the way; sister, Terri VanderLaan; brother, Otto VanderLaan; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Fellowship Christian Reformed Church, 4375 Ivanrest Ave. SW, Grandville with Pastor Barb Sanders officiating. Burial will take place at Richland Township Cemetery in Lucas, MI. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Monday 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and Tuesday from 10 to 10:45 prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Fellowship CRC.
