Elisabeth Gertrude Fazio

Elisabeth Gertrude Fazio, age 91, of Grand Rapids was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Fazio; daughter, Roylinda Fazio; siblings, Leo Schick, Karl Schick, Fred Schick. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandson, Justin (Sara) Fazio; great grandchildren, Maria and Isabel (Izzy); many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. The family would like to thank nieces, Cindy and Lisa and dear friend, Volly for the wonderful care they provided to Elisabeth. She was a warm, caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be lovingly remembered for her passion for cooking, especially trying new recipes and experimenting with her culinary skills. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends but truly enjoyed spending time with them the most. Elisabeth loved socializing with family and friends on the phone and could talk for extended periods. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am Wednesday, June 14 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1253 52nd Street SE, Kentwood, with Fr. Peter Vu officiating. The burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family at 10 am prior to services. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church.
