Elena Milewski, age 81, of Grand Rapids, passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Elena was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a hard worker and loved going for daily walks around the neighborhood. She loved spending time with her family and was very devoted to her Catholic faith. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Larry and Mary Rios (Lauren, Sarah, and Brieanna), Thomas Rios, Donna and Eric Weeber (Kara and Tara), John and Beth Milewski (William, John, and James); many great-grandchildren; siblings, Elvira and Rafe Luna, Rosa and David Campbell; and many nieces and nephews. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Humane Society of West Michigan.

Donna, My heart aches for you . I have so many fond memories of your mother , she was absolutely the BEST , so warm and welcoming whenever I was there. I do remember seeing you all at St. Francis , she was a devout catholic. A blessed ANGEL in heaven watching over all of you . Grandma I have so many amazing memories and stories with you that I will cherish forever. So many trips to the “junk store” and walking down to Kmart when we were so little. And still having sleepovers when we were 18 yrs old. I truly don’t know how I will get thru everyday without you, from just having our talks to calling you about your “princess” from what to do with her when she’s sick to what to do with her when she’s not listening. Aria loves her GG so much and will always cherish the time she had with you. We ALL will cherish the time we had with you, it’s better to have loved, then never loved at all…. And this is how I think of my time with you grandma. Aria and I love you so much and will still continue to talk to you everyday thru prayers. Love you forever grandma -Prissy
