Eleanor Alofs

Eleanor Grace (Borduin) Alofs, age 93, of Jenison, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Fernley. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sharon and Dr. Philip Hoekstra, Jan and Phil Plasman, Ron and Donna Alofs; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A private family graveside service will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to The Sunset Legacy Foundation.

Sharon and Jan, I'm so sorry for your loss in the passing of your dear Mom. We certainly don't want to keep them in their aged and weakened condition but I still think of and miss my folks every day. I have such sweet memories of your family...our MIchigan cousins. And I think I still remember the address I wrote so many "penpal" letters to...8101 Crestview? It's the end of a generation and now we've moved into the position of the oldest ones. Blessings in your new journey.
