Elaine Van Dyke

Elaine W. Van Dyke, age 81, of Jenison, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 16, 2019.She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Jack, and her brother-in-law, Cornie Den Ouden. Elaine was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family. She was blessed with a servant’s heart who faithfully served many meals over the years.  She will be lovingly remembered by Sheri and Ken Pastoor, Nancy and Dave Van Baren, Julie and Dave Van Overloop, Jim and Kim Van Dyke; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Blankers, Joanne and Jon Huisken; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Althea Bosch, Dave and Arlene Van Dyke, John and Gayle Van Dyke; several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, 11 am at Grandville Protestant Reformed Church, 4320 40th SW, with Rev. Nate Decker officiating.  Interment Pine Hill Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday  from 4-8 pm at the church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Covenant Christian High School.
